Beautiful wild roses

The wild rose bushes along the fence lines are in full bloom and the air is so fragrant

We should have lots of rosehips in the fall! They always sell out. I think this is the best year for the wild roses since we've been at the farm. Perhaps because we have cut them every year, it seems like they have just responded by producing even more blooms. The little thorns are extremely sharp, and cutting the stems is tricky work, but those tiny rose hips are so beautiful and wild looking.
